Alexandra Gruebler is a Berlin-based composer, producer and performer of electroacoustic music. She is especially interested in the alchemical properties and speculative spaces of autonomy in sonics, voicing and rhythm.

Primarily through the solo project Baal & Mortimer, her artistic practice employs a dialogic interaction between various processed instruments such as the psaltery, bagpipes, electronics, acoustic artefacts and poetics.
